CIRCUITO VILLA QUILA QUINA

Por ruta Nacional 234, pasando por Playa Catritre, atravesaremos Comunidades Mapuches dentro del Parque Nacional Lanín, visitando los rápidos del Arroyo Grande cuyo guiado lo hace gente de la comunidad ($1 adicional), la villa residencial y playas de Quila Quina donde hay un bar sobre el muelle para tomar algo, con una hermosa vista de montañas y lago. Medio día de 15 a 18.30hs.-

This small village is mainly a daily and week- end resort. It is located 18 kilometers away from San Martin de los Andes on lake Lacar’s southern margin. It can be reached both by boat and by land. If your choice is to do it by land the first part is done on route 234 also called "de los 7 lagos" and then it continues along a mountain road which goes across land owned by the Mapuche Curruhuinca native community. The development of the village was encouraged by the administration of the Lanin National Park in the 40’s provided the houses were built in stone and local timber. Visitors can walk a native oak forest, follow an interpretative trail, visit waterfalls, a natural soda fountain or admire Indian paintings on rock.

CERRO CHAPELCO

Bordeando la margen izquierda del Lago Lacar, empalmamos la ruta que nos lleva al Complejo Chapelco, desde donde podemos observar el Volcán Lanín y el Volcán Villarrica situado en Chile. Tanto en invierno como en verano funciona la telecabina hasta 1.200, hay un restaurante y cafetería tanto en la base como en la intermedia. El circuito de regreso se realiza por el Mirador Arrayán donde hay una hermosa vista de la Cordillera. En verano funciona un parque de la aventura con distintas actividades para toda la familia , y en invierno es nuestro centro de esquí. Medio día, hay dos horarios de 9.30 a 12.30hs ó de 15 a 18hs

Chapelco is the main ski resort of the area with modern ski lifts and other service facilities such as restaurants, toilettes, drugstore, swimming pool, etc. During the summer it is an open- air daily resort. It is located only 19 kilometers away from San Martin de los Andes and the road links look-out spots, the houses of the Mapuche dwellers with their corrals and grazing sheep, waterfalls and streams. You reach the base of the resort at 1200 meters from which you get an excellent panoramic view of the lake and the Andes including the emblematic Lanin Volcano. Even in the summer the ski runs, which cover an area of 140 hectares, can be very attractive, as they have been designed considering the Lenga forest. One can choose trekking, mountain biking or horseback riding. Whichever the choice you will be dead tired but happy at the end of the day.


CIRCUITO HUECHULAFQUEN

Salimos hacia Junín de los Andes, city tour, paseo de los artesanos, recorrido por la iglesia reformada completamente en estilo araucano, luego al C.E.A.N. (Centro de Ecología Aplicada del Neuquén) donde se ve todo el manejo de fauna que está haciendo la provincia, desde allí comenzamos a bordear toda la margen norte de los Lagos Huechulafquen y Paimún cpn espectaculares miradores hacia la cordillera, almuerzo libre en la Comunidad Mapuche de Bahia Cañicul con una impresionante vista del Volcán Lanin, que le da el nombre a nuestro Parque Nacional, viendo la margen sur del mismo con los glaciares eternos. Por la tarde mate y relax en el lago Paimún, luego regreso en forma directa a SM.Andes . Día completo de 9.30 a 18hs.-

We left towards Junín the Andes, City tour, stroll of the craftsmen, crossed by the church reformed completely in araucano style, thence we began to border all the North margin of the Lakes Huechulafquen and Paimún with spectacular viewpoints towards the mountain range, free lunch in the Mapuche Community of Cañicul Bay (or Junin of the Andes when one is groups) with an impressive Vista of Lanin Volcano, that gives the name him to our National Park, seeing the South margin of he himself with glaciers ether to us. In the evening it kills and relax in the Paimún lake, soon return in direct form to SM.Andes. Complete day of 9,30 to 19.30hs.


CIRCUITO 7 LAGOS – VILLA LA ANGOSTURA – VILLA TRAFUL

Salimos por la ruta de los 7 lagos (Nº234) recorriendo la margen sur del lago Lácar, pasando por Comunidades Mapuches, desvío al Cerro Chapelco, recorriendo los Lagos Machónico, , Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo, y finalmente Lago Nahuel Huapi, compartido por Villa La Angostura y Bariloche. Entramos a Villa La Angostura alrededor de las 11hs, vamos a los puertos del Nahuel Huapi, El Messidor (residencia del gobernador de Neuquen), recorremos el centro y alrededores de la villa, siempre con tiempo para sacar fotos, hacer compras los que quieran, luego se retrocede 25 Km para tomar el acceso a Villa Traful, ubicada a orillas del Lago Traful, aquí paramos a almorzar, descansar y caminar a orillas del lago, después hacemos el Mirador del Viento. Seguimos el recorrido hasta confluencia para tomar el Paso Córdoba, camino totalmente diferente a 7 lagos, venimos por los filos de las montañas viendo formaciones rocosas con diferentes formas a causa de la erosión del viento, paramos en casa de piedra, lagos y río Meliquina, hasta llegar a San Martín de los Andes. Día completo de 8.30 a 20hs.-

CIRCUITO 7 LAGOS – VILLA LA ANGOSTURA

Salimos por la ruta de los 7 lagos (Nº234) recorriendo la margen sur del lago Lácar, pasando por Comunidades Mapuches, desvío al Cerro Chapelco, recorriendo los Lagos Machónico, , Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo, aquí paramos en Quintupuray, donde , y finalmente Lago Nahuel Huapi, compartido por Villa La Angostura y Bariloche. Entramos a Villa La Angostura alrededor de las 11hs, vamos a los puertos del Nahuel Huapi, El Messidor (residencia del gobernador de Neuquen), Bahía Manzano, Mirador Arrayán, Cascada Río Bonito, al mediodía tiempo libre para almorzar y caminar, por la tarde salimos alrededor de las 16:30hs para llegar en forma directa a SM.Andes. Día completo de 9.30 a 18hs.-

CIRCUITO 7 LAGOS – VILLA LA ANGOSTURA – BARILOCHE – PASO CORDOBA

Salimos por la ruta de los 7 lagos (Nº234) recorriendo la margen sur del lago Lácar, pasando por Comunidades Mapuches, desvío al Cerro Chapelco, recorriendo los Lagos Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo, y finalmente Lago Nahuel Huapi, compartido por Villa La Angostura y Bariloche. Entramos a Villa La Angostura alrededor de las 11hs, vamos a los puertos del Nahuel Huapi, El Messidor (residencia del gobernador de Neuquen), recorremos el centro y alrededores de la villa, seguimos por el ultimo tramos de los 7 lagos hasta Bariloche, aquí tenemos 2,30hs libres para almorzar, caminar, recorrer el centro en forma individual. Salimos de Bariloche por el Valle Encantado (con distintas formaciones rocosas), Confluencia, para tomar el Paso Córdoba, camino totalmente diferente a 7 lagos, venimos por los filos de las montañas viendo formaciones rocosas con diferentes formas a causa de la erosión del viento, paramos en casa de piedra, lagos y río Meliquina, hasta llegar a San Martín de los Andes. Día completo de 8.30 a 20hs.-

7 lakes Circuit

This is a main regional tourist corridor. In only 110 kilometers, which is the distance between the city of San Martin de los Andes and the town of Villa La Angostura, you will come across a succession of lakes, waterfalls, forests, natural look-out posts and mountain ridges all covered by the abundant Andean flora. After leaving lake Lácar behind, the first lake you will encounter is called Machónico, which is followed by the imposing Vuliñanco waterfall. Then come lakes Villarino and Falkner and hidden in the vegetation lake Escondido. Finally the route borders lakes Correntoso and Espejo. When the road encounters national route number 231, which leads to the International Samoré Pass, the imposing appearance of lake Nahuel Huapi will announce your arrival to the picturesque mountain town of Villa La Angostura.

Villa La Angostura

The town is on the northwestern margin of lake Nahuel Huapi and it occupies the lower part of the slopes of mounts Bayo, Inacayal and Belvedere. It receives its name from the stretch of land or istmus, which links the Quetrihue Peninsula to the main land. This peninsula is home to one of the unique living Arrayán forests in the world, which is why it is a National Park in itself. The forest can be visited by boat accompanied by a local guide and the return trip can be done on foot, through the forest up to the village.

Villa Traful

30 kilometers before reaching Villa La Angostura as you come from San Martin de los Andes along route "de los 7 lagos", there’s a road to your left which leads to the the small village of Villa Traful. The village has no more than 700 inhabitants on lake Traful’s waterfront and is renown as a paradise for trout fishing. It is surrounded by cypress forest, its architectural style is regulated by the National Parks normative and its growth is done bearing in mind a great respect for the environment. It offers an array of beaches, trails, small lakes and waterfalls.

San Carlos de Bariloche

80 kilometers away form Villa La Angostura lies de city of San Carlos de Bariloche. It was founded in 1902 and developed into a well- known mountain resort. Some architectonical features are worth mentioning such as its cathedral, its town hall, the headquarters building for the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Victoria Island, Catedral Ski Resort, Puerto Blest, Mount Otto, the Llao Llao Peninsula are only some of the very many and spectacular options offered to the visitor.
